About Me

I’m a Fertility and Pregnancy Dietitian with over 35 years of experience helping individuals and families improve their health through personalized nutrition. As a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) for more than 25 years, I’ve supported clients across many medical settings — specializing in gestational diabetes, fertility and prenatal nutrition, and medical nutrition therapy.

My passion for learning and teaching has guided my career since earning my Master’s in Nutrition from New York University. I’ve continued to expand my expertise through advanced training and certifications in:

· Fertility & Prenatal nutrition
· Diabetes Education
· Insulin Injection Training
· Continuous Glucose  Monitoring
· Insulin Pump Therapy
· Adult Weight Management
· Vegetarian Nutrition
· CDC Diabetes Prevention and Lifestyle
· Basic Culinary Nutrition

I believe in the power of education to create lasting change. My approach is built on empathy, empowerment, and evidence-based guidance—helping clients manage fertility challenges, gestational diabetes, and overall pregnancy nutrition through balanced eating and sustainable lifestyle habits.

My Story

After completing my Master’s in Nutrition from New York University in 1991, I had planned to pursue a PhD. But at that pivotal moment in my life, I felt God leading me to focus on starting a family rather than continuing my academic journey.

My own path to motherhood was not easy. I was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) in my early 20s, experienced gestational diabetes during pregnancy, and went through a long labor and delivery. After seven years of marriage, I was blessed with my first child–a true gift from God, born on Christmas Day.

Conceiving my second child was another challenge, and when I finally did, I named him Zachary, meaning “God remembered.” Today, I’m blessed with three wonderful children who continue to grow in their faith and purpose.

My personal journey through infertility, PCOS, and gestational diabetes has shaped not only my life but also my calling as a dietitian specializing in fertility and pregnancy nutrition. Guided by faith, my mission is to educate, encourage, and empower others through compassionate, evidence-based nutrition care — helping each person walk their own path toward health, healing, and hope.
