For example, a diet rich in omega-3 fatty acids has been associated with improved cognitive function and reduced risk of neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD and autism spectrum disorder. In addition, breastfeeding has been shown to have beneficial effects on cognitive development, particularly in terms of language development.

Overall, the correlation between nutrition and neurodevelopment is complex and multifactorial. Adequate nutrition is necessary for optimal brain development and function, and deficiencies or imbalances in nutrients can lead to a range of neurodevelopmental problems. Therefore, it is important to ensure that individuals, particularly pregnant women, infants, and young children, receive adequate nutrition to support optimal brain development and function.
