When our Lord saw Peter’s mother in law sick, he touched her and she ministered to him. He saw, he touched and he was ministered to. When we are touched by The Lord or are recipients to his compassionate eyes and feel his touch, then we are pressed into immediate service for him. How can we stay indifferent or immune but instead not feel compelled and restrained to be wholly devoted and serve him and his needs, his priorities and his purposes. He is not afar off or aloof in his interactions with us but he wants to touch us, see our difficulties and respond with his tender heart. He is that in tuned with us, what a awesome Lord we have.
